Reading Week Celebrates Literary Culture

As part of the Reading Week celebrations, WIRAS organized two literary programmes, 'Pusthakappechch' and 'E-Vaayana Mathiyo?', at Azadi Circle on 22 and 23 June 2026. Coordinated by Ajna Parveen U. K. P., Pusthakappechch featured book introductions by faculty members Shamseer M. A., Anushka, Devaraj M., and Manu C. H., who shared inspiring books and reading experiences. The second programme, E-Vaayana Mathiyo?, encouraged discussions on the relevance of digital and printed reading, with active participation from students and faculty. The programmes successfully promoted reading habits and inspired participants to appreciate literature in both traditional and digital formats.
