Roots & Routes Inspires Freshers

The Department of English, WIRAS, organized “Roots & Routes,” an interactive session for first-year students as part of the Induction Programme 2026 on 23 July 2026. The session featured Yasin Fayaz, alumnus of the Department of English, and Manu C. H., Head of the Department of Malayalam, who shared their academic journeys, career experiences, and valuable life lessons with the newcomers. Through engaging interactions and personal reflections, the speakers motivated students to embrace learning, build confidence, and make the most of campus opportunities. The programme inspired freshers to begin their academic journey with enthusiasm, purpose, and a strong sense of belonging.
