WIRAS Launches Reading Week Celebrations

WIRAS inaugurated its Reading Week celebrations on 19 June 2026 with a programme at the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Seminar Hall. The event was jointly organized by the Departments of Malayalam and English, the Library Department, and NSS Unit 48. Mr. Manu C. H. welcomed the gathering, while Principal Dr. Aboo Ishaque P. K. inaugurated the programme. Sri Arun E. Karunakaran delivered the P. N. Panicker Memorial Lecture, emphasizing the importance of reading and literary culture. The occasion also marked the launch of WIRAS Sahithya Vedi and the unveiling of its logo. The programme concluded with felicitations and a vote of thanks by Mr. Devaraj M.
