WIRAS NSS Unit Conducts Seven-Day Special Camp at Vellora

NSS Unit 48 of WIRAS organized a seven-day Special NSS Camp at Vellora AUP School from 24 to 30 December with the participation of 45 volunteers from first and second-year classes. The camp was inaugurated by Muhammed Riyas T. K., Director of WIRAS.

During the residential camp, volunteers carried out several community service activities, including the reconstruction of a village road to improve transportation access for local residents. The camp concluded with a closing ceremony inaugurated by K. Preeth, President of Eramam Kuttur Grama Panchayath.

The programme provided volunteers with valuable practical exposure to community service and teamwork. Volunteers Suhan Haneef T., Juraij Abdul Jabbar, Anurag P., Muhammed Ashraf K. M., Muhammed Rasal K. T., and Mirsa Ali played key leadership roles in organizing the camp successfully.
