WIRAS NSS Volunteers Shine at State NSS Kalolsavam

Nine NSS volunteers from WIRAS participated in the First NSS State Kalolsavam held at Thrissur, bringing pride to the institution through remarkable performances. Eight volunteers secured Third Prize in the Youth Parliament competition, reflecting their teamwork, communication skills, and social awareness.

In individual events, Nahla Moideen won Second Prize in the English Story Writing competition, while Anurag P participated in the Spot Photography competition. The volunteers who represented the institution were Suhan Haneef T., Fathima Shiba T. M. A., Ajna Parveen U. K. P., Rifa P. K., Muhammed Adil Falah A., Nahla Moideen, Fida, Hanna H., and Anurag P.

Their achievements contributed significantly to Kannur University securing the Overall Championship with 108 points. The team was guided by NSS Programme Officer Rajeesh V. V.
