"Adopt a Plant"

In celebration of World Environment Day 2026, the Tourism Club in collaboration with the Department of English at the Wadihuda Institute of Research & Advanced Studies (WIRAS) is proud to announce an eco-friendly initiative titled "Adopt a Plant." This green campaign is designed to foster environmental consciousness and encourage the campus community to take active, hands-on responsibility for sustainability. The official inaugural ceremony will be led by our respected Principal, Dr. Aboo Ishaque P K, on Friday, June 5th, 2026, at 10:00 AM. All students, faculty, and staff are warmly invited to gather at Azadi Circle, WIRAS, to join hands in this movement, adopt a sapling, and play a vital part in nurturing a greener, more sustainable future for our planet.
