NSS Volunteers Visit Pattuvam Old-Age Home

NSS Unit 48 of WIRAS organized a visit to the Pattuvam Dina Sevana Sabha (DSSS) Generalate at Muriyathodu, Pattuvam, as part of the Humanitarian Day observence. NSS volunteers and prospective first-year volunteers participated in the programme. The students cleaned the premises of the old-age home and assisted in serving lunch to the inmates. The team was led by volunteers Muhammed Ashraf K M and Mariyambi T, along with Programme Officer Rajeesh V V. The students were welcomed by Mother Jayce Mary and other sisters. The volunteers also handed over funds collected through a collection drive for the inmates. Baby John, Coordinator, DLRA India, Taliparamba Block, expressed gratitude to the volunteers for their service and support.
