Safe Campus, Strong Community

The Anti-Ragging Cell of Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies (WIRAS) organized an Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme titled "Safe Campus, Strong Community" on 17 July 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the College Auditorium The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Aboo Ishaque P. K., Principal, and the keynote address was delivered by Sri. Prajeesh S. K., Assistant Sub Inspector, Pariyaram Police Station. The keynote session was highly interactive, informative, and motivational. The resource person explained the ill effects of ragging, its legal consequences, and the role of students in creating a safe and respectful campus. Through real-life examples and active interaction, he encouraged students to uphold discipline, mutual respect, and positive relationships within the institution. The event successfully promoted awareness and reinforced the institution's commitment to a ragging-free campus.
