Research Orientation for Psychology Students

Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies (WIRAS) organised a Research Orientation Session on September 22, 2026, for the first-year students of the M.Sc. Applied Psychology and M.Sc. Counselling Psychology programmes.

The session was designed to introduce students to the fundamentals and importance of research in the field of psychology. Through an interactive and engaging learning experience, students were encouraged to develop critical thinking skills, explore research perspectives, and cultivate curiosity and a spirit of inquiry.

The session provided an opportunity for students to understand how meaningful questions can lead to valuable research ideas and discoveries. It also aimed to inspire students to approach academic learning with greater curiosity, analytical thinking, and an interest in research.

The programme served as a valuable platform for the students to begin their postgraduate journey with a strong foundation in research-oriented thinking.
