The Empathetic Educator Session

As part of the Seven Day Faculty Development Program (2026-27), "ElevatEd: Learn to Lead Learning," the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Wadihuda Institute of Research & Advanced Studies (WIRAS) organized a session on "The Empathetic Educator: Mastering Teaching Skills & Navigating Adolescent Minds." The event commenced on May 23, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Seminar Hall with a solemn prayer. Mr. Salman Faris N K (Chief Administrative Officer and Dean of Student Affairs) welcomed the gathering, followed by the presidential address by Principal Dr. Aboo Ishaque P. K., who emphasized the modern teacher's role as an empathetic mentor. International Trainer and Career Counsellor Nisam A P attended as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Aseel Abdul Wahid (Assistant Professor, Farook Training College, Kozhikode) served as the primary resource person, sharing vital strategies for managing adolescent psychology and mastering classroom skills. The session successfully concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Vineethkumar V (R&D and IQAC Coordinator).
