WIRAS NSS Volunteers Join “Ente Bhasha Ente Abhimanam” Rally

The NSS Unit No. 48 of Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies (WIRAS) actively participated in the “Ente Bhasha Ente Abhimanam – Bhasha Varacharana Rally” organized by Kannur University on 1st November 2025 at the Thavakkara Campus, Kannur.

The rally, held as part of Bhasha Varacharana celebrations, aimed to promote awareness and pride in Malayalam as Kerala’s official, academic, and judicial language. A total of 45 NSS volunteers from WIRAS took part, carrying banners and creative placards showcasing the theme “My Language, My Pride.”

The rally commenced from the Kannur University campus at 4:00 p.m. and concluded at the Old Bus Stand by 5:00 p.m., with the volunteers accompanied by Mr. Rajeesh V V, NSS Programme Officer and senior volunteer captains Ms. Abhirami V P and Mr. Shithil K M.

The event provided a meaningful platform for students to celebrate linguistic identity and cultural pride, reflecting the true spirit and social commitment of NSS.
