Workshop on Empowers Students with Emotional Intelligence Skills
The Department of Management Studies, in collaboration with the PG Department of Psychology, organized a thought-provoking workshop titled “EQ for Future Managers” on 22nd September 2025. The session was held from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. at the BBA Lecture Hall, with the objective of enhancing students’ understanding of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and its critical role in effective management and leadership.
The session was led by Ms. Manhal, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Psychology, who brought valuable insights and practical knowledge to the discussion. Through a combination of interactive activities and engaging discussions, Ms. Manhal introduced the students to the core components of Emotional Intelligence, such as self-awareness, empathy, motivation, and relationship management. She highlighted how these elements are essential for sound decision making, effective teamwork, and strong leadership.
Students responded enthusiastically, actively participating in the session and sharing positive feedback. Many noted that the workshop offered a unique opportunity to reflect on their emotional strengths and identify areas for personal growth. The event successfully underscored the importance of EQ in shaping well-rounded and capable future managers.
