NSS Unit Organizes Anti-Drug Awareness Programme at WIRAS
A De-Addiction and Anti-Drug Awareness Programme was organized at the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Seminar Hall under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and Mission Spandan, initiatives of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The programme aimed to spread awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and promote a healthy, addiction-free society among students.
The session began with a welcome address by Fahana Begum and was presided over by Vineetha C. The programme was inaugurated by Brahmakumari Shantha, who emphasized the importance of self-discipline, mental strength, and awareness in preventing substance abuse among youth.
Ajna Parveen U. K. P. delivered the vote of thanks. A total of 67 NSS volunteers participated in the informative and interactive session.
