Stem Cell Awareness & Registration Programme Held at WIRAS

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit No. 48, WIRAS, in collaboration with DKMS Foundation India, organized a Stem Cell Awareness and Registration Programme on 14 January 2025 at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Seminar Hall. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. P. K. Abu Ishaque, Principal of WIRAS. The session was led by resource persons Ms. Ardra Samuel from DKMS Foundation India and Ms. Chaithanya K, who highlighted the importance of stem cell donation. The programme was welcomed by Ms. Hannah H, NSS volunteer, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Sana Shamsudeen, Volunteer Secretary. A total of 51 students, including 42 NSS volunteers and two faculty members, registered as stem cell donors during the programme.
