The FYUGP Orientation Programme

The FYUGP Orientation Programme for all students was successfully conducted on 16th July 2025 (Wednesday) in the Seminar Hall. The programme aimed to welcome first-year students, introduce them to the FYUGP framework, and create a comfortable space for interaction with the faculty.

The day commenced with the General FYUGP Orientation from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, led by Dr. Akhil R, who briefed the students about the structure, vision, and opportunities offered by the FYUGP curriculum.

This was followed by the Departmental FYUGP Orientation from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, where departmental faculties addressed the students, shared department-specific information, and discussed the academic and co-curricular opportunities available.

After a lunch break from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, the departments organized various entertainment and interactive sessions from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. These included movie time, games, casual interactions, and an introduction of the faculty members. Faculties also discussed the subjects they would be handling, helping students get familiar with their teachers and upcoming courses.

Overall, the orientation programme was engaging and informative, providing students with a smooth transition into their new academic environment.
