Promoting Positive Parenting: ‘Orumachiri’ Class Conducted at Anganwadi

An awareness class titled “Orumachiri” was organized for the mothers of Manasagramam at Orannidathuchal Anganwadi on March 28, following the ‘Thodettam’ ceremony. The programme was conducted by NSS Unit 48 of WIRAS in collaboration with the PG Department of Psychology. The session was inaugurated by Research Director Dr. Vineethkumar V, who emphasized the importance of mental well-being and positive parenting. The class was led by PG students Arya and Fida, who discussed key aspects of emotional balance, wisdom, and effective parenting. The programme witnessed active participation from NSS volunteers and created a friendly and interactive environment. Mothers actively engaged in the session, sharing their experiences and gaining valuable insights for nurturing a healthy and balanced family life.
