WIRAS College NSS Unit Promotes Democratic Awareness Through “Ink It” Programme

An awareness programme on the importance of voting was organized by NSS Unit 48 of WIRAS College at Azadi Circle on March 30 at 3:30 pm. Titled “Ink It – Celebration of Democracy,” the initiative aimed to instill a sense of civic responsibility among students. The respected Principal addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of political awareness and the need for active participation in the democratic process. The speech emphasized that every vote holds value and that the youth play a crucial role in shaping the future of the nation. The session proved to be both informative and thought-provoking, inspiring students to become responsible and conscious citizens. As part of the programme, students actively engaged in a creative activity where they painted their hands and made handprints on a cloth.
